SECURITY DOORS
INTRODUCTION
We have truly come a long way! It has been depicted, in movies and pictures that those that came before us enjoyed a measure of security that did not require being locked up behind steel or metal security doors. And they had security; they felt secure, in the true sense of it. But things have changed greatly. We now live in a world that that has not changed a bit in shape yet it has experienced a total 360% turn around in all else.
THE REVIEW
Nations of the world spend billions yearly on security. What with the level of terrorism in the world today. It is only the living that is alive. The dead are either six feet below the ground or waiting for their time. So you are either dead or alive. If you are alive you need to be alive as long as you can manage it. It is not for the lily-livered.
At our various homes which represent a minute aspect of the larger society, we take precautions so that we do not allow un-welcomed, aggressive guests into our homes. This requires a lot of money and the right planning. You must know what you want first, and then you need the wherewithal to bring it to fruition.
We must plan and invest in security. Security doors are just a part of this grand plan to defeat the enemy, the assassin, the sneak-in-thief or whatever it is that your nightmare maybe. Security doors give you the chance to a possible defense before the authority is called in.
A security door that will offer you the best security and safety is what you want to look for when you are in the market shopping for one. But you need to be in tune with the prevailing security standards to understand what to look for and how to know it when you see one.
How to do this? There are national standards or Specs (like it is called in some countries). This ensures that a particular product cannot be accepted in a certain country unless it meets certain prescribed standards.
The 5039-2008 Australian Standard is a cinch if you are looking for a security door that complies with the modern day industrial standards. The Australian Standard requires that security doors undergo three tests which include: the dynamic impact test, the pull, and the anti-jimmy tests. These were meant to make sure that these doors withstand potential break-ins. Its utmost end is to keep invaders out.
FEATURES
A triple contact locking mechanism with a high-end security screen with a full frame is constructed with a strong material like steel. This ensures that whatever you buy is the best; made of the best materials that can withstand the test of time.
CONCLUSION
Unless you are looking for a compromised product, Australian made security doors still stand quite tall amongst many. The number of products out there that are made from cheap materials is quite many and indiscernible unless if you have the eyes.
But these Australian companies make these products with you in mind. Compromising is not part the story here.
The aim of this article is not to tell you that there are no other countries that produce quality security doors. But this is an expose.
Protect your residential quarters. It is all you have got after a day out sweating for your daily bread. It is your pride. You should endeavor to be happy and a whole man there. Think of Eden. God did not spare anything to make it a place to live!
